Ok, so I'm a little biased, but since I have a boyfriend who seriously benefits from this place, I just had to post a glowing rec. Imagine you are 6'5". Now imagine that you have a great sense of style. Now imagine you are trying to find a great pair of jeans. Don't know where to go? I'll tell you where to go, and it's the ONLY place, as far as I'm concerned: Avery Tallman. Their store is on the web (www.averytallman.com) and brand-new- they just launched in January. And while their product offering is still a little thin, they are slowly but surely building up their stock of the most sought-after cool men's brands , in....drum roll please....TALL SIZES. So now, even a 6'6" guy (like the company's co-founder, my friend) can wear 575 Denim in a 36" inseam (of which, by the way, they are the SOLE RETAILER). They also have JetLag, which is apparently hot in Italy, Earnest Sewn, and a South African Brand called Soviet that comes in up to a 40" inseam. So there you go- tall men with style everywhere can rejoice! You can finally stop waiting for the flood and start wearing jeans (and shirts too!) that fit you! - Kika , posted 03/07/07 |
