For anyone in Chicagoland who loves Brazilian meats, Asado is the place to go. Its quite a bit more reasonably priced than other Brazilian places around such as Fogo de Chao and Sal $ Carvao, around $25-28 per plate. Good stuff-- just make sure not to fill up on the salad bar. :) Check out the review from Metromix.com for more info.

Asado Brazilian Grill, which has two locations in New Mexico, opened its third location in downtown Evanston. Asado, which owner Jose Venzor tell us means "barbecue," offers a all-you-can-eat churrascaria experience for considerably less dough than Chicago competitors Fogo de Chao and Sal & Carvao, and the vibe is also much more playful. The bi-level space features colorful walls peppered with Latin-flaired art, a sweeping staircase which provides great views of the glass-enclosed kitchen, and custom-made wine walls on the second level that break the dining room up into more intimate spaces. On the menu: 40 item salad bar and 18 mesquite charcoal-roasted meats that waiters carve tableside, with choices like marinated leg of lamb, top sirloin, bacon-wrapped filet mignon and beef ribs.
