As an Applications Support Analyst for the Public Sector, you will troubleshoot problems that involve timeliness of service. Communicate technical and non-technical information and understand when to escalate system/operational issues. Provide effective production support including accurate problem identification, ticket documentation and internal customer/vendor communication. Resolve system issues on own and/or collaborates with IT team members. Support tactical and strategic goals of the IT Production Support team and our internal customer (Operations).
Basic and/or intermediate level knowledge and/or work experience in Windows 2000 environment and SQL 2000 database
Visual Basic skill and experience
Basic run docs, procedural docs, and technical docs are reviewed, understood and assimilated so that a base level of understanding for the functional area is assured
Four-year professional degree or two-year technical degree preferred where applicable, and/or 5-7 years technical experience in providing production support
