Seattle Burlesque Producers Lily Verlaine and Jasper McCann are bringing Seattle's Holiday Burlesque tradition to Chicago for the FIRST TIME! With special Chicago guests Miss Exotic World 2004 Dirty Martini, and the Windy City's own Miss Exotic World 2005 Michelle L'amour!
Land of the Sweets: The Burlesque Nutcracker. A spectacle of ecdysiastic pageantry, Land of the Sweets features an all-star cast from Seattle's Burlesque A-list, including Miss Indigo Blue, Kitten La Rue, Babette La Fave, Waxie Moon, The Aerialistas, and the Living, Breathing Work of Art, Lily Verlaine. Jasper McCann hosts and the "audiences for these sold-out shows…go wild" (Seattle Times). Land of the Sweets is the holiday extravaganza sets The Nutcracker to a swing-era soundtrack and gives the ballet a bawdy makeover.
